I've recently joined this amazing group of men
Every Sunday, they get together to have bacon an egg rolls
A 7am start!
It sets up every Sunday to be a great day
We all have stories, and telling them is the best way to connect to others
I've made new friends
I've shared some of my stories
And what you realise is, we all pass through troubled times
Talking about them out loud seems to help straighten out our thinking
It gets that weight of your shoulders
And its resonates with others, because our stories are all very similar
Life is hard, it test us all
And we have a choice
Keep all our issues, secrets and troubles on the inside
Or get them out, learn that you are not alone in your struggle and find comfort and connection with new mates
Mates who provide a safe place to speak
